a) T  Type Core Barrels ;

T series core barrels are the general purpose double tube core barrels of the metric standards. These barrels are ideal for homogeneous or slightly broken formations. Water or water + polymers should be used as the circulating fluid. Bentonite based can not be used due to the very small clearance between the outer and the inner tubes.

They are made of thinner outer and inner seamless steel tubes when compared with DCDMA standard core barrels. Due to their thin bit kerfs , they provide faster penetration and low diamond cost.

b) K3  Type Core Barrels ; 

These long lasting , sturdy core barrels are ideal for hard drilling operations. They provide high core recovery especially with optional face discharge core bits. Either mud or water can be used with these core barrels.

c) T6S  Type Core Barrels ;

Standard features of this core barrel provides almost undisturbed core sample. This type can also be specified in soil sampling equipment with its split inner tube and face discharge bit. They are suitable to work in soft to hard formations with mud or water , where high core recovery is necessary. Sizes 76 to 101 mm with 1500 mm core length are available , 3000 mm is optional.
