Polmak manufacturing line mainly consist of Conventional Flight Augers.

With the addition of a Cutter Head, Conventional Flight Augers are commonly used for drilling down to 30 meters depths where ground conditions permit.

Apart from other drilling equipment, obviously there are many sizes for these types of augers, but the most commonly used sizes are listed as standard.

In order to provide clearance for the cuttings, cutter heads should be larger in diameter by at least 0.5 inches.

Conventional flight auger lengths vary , however 1.5 m. is the most popular length.

Augers are furnished with standard hexagonal shank.

Finger type Cutter Heads for use with Conventional Flight Augers; are manufactured of high quality steel and designed for use with hard faced or carbide insert type finger cutters. Carbide insert fingers are commonly used to drill reasonably hard rock.

Cutter Heads are connected to Flight augers with standard hexagonal shank or socket connections. Inquiries depart from this type of connection usually supplied by manufacturing a suitable adapter.
